I normally get 7.5L -8L/100kms, & 450kms to a tank commuting. I thought I be closer to 10L/100kms with the way I was driving.

My 4-cyl Tacoma usually gets around 21-24 MPG. I calculated MPG yesterday morning when I filled up, and it came out to like 18.5 MPG.
I’ve been winding the engine out to 2500-3000 RPM a little more lately, instead of upshifting at 2k like normal. It’s a dog at low RPM but gets positively peppy later in the rev band.
Guess I paid for that.
Call that 12.714 L/100km in non-freedom units.

8-9/10ths. The open diff was holding me back.
